X-Max V2 Pro is the first portable vaporizer of the X-Vape dynasty whose reputation is well established!

Top Green offers us a heating system by both conduction and convection to ensure a fast and homogeneous steam production.

Conduction extracts active ingredients by direct contact with plant matter.

By convection, extraction will be done by passing a stream of warm air through the plant.

In the case of the X-Max V2 Pro, the heating is so intense that it induces a moderate convection to proffit of further conduction.

Indeed, the Xmax and its bowl become too hot to ensure a 100% convection vaporization.

The steam quality of the X-Max V2 Pro

The X-Max respects the aromas (terpenes) of the plants thanks to the quality of its heating system and its ceramic bowl.

On the other hand no cooling system was thought.

Indeed, the distance between the heater element and the mouth is far too short for the steam to cool properly.

This will eventually be adequate to cough and purge the lungs full of tars of a smoker, but not frankly optimal for a confirmed vaping.

The draw/airflow of the Xmax V2 Pro is rather restricted by the original mouthpiece.

An airflow reduces the need for much slower inhalation than with an open print so as not to have the unpleasant sensation that the vaporizer is clogged.

Fortunately, I found that the 1 cm diameter glass mouthpiece (optional) solved the problem.

Of course, we will have the opportunity to cool the steam by filtering it with water thanks to a bubbler.

For this we will have the choice between the small portable bubbler designed for the X-Max V2 Pro, or an adapter to combine it with a table bubbler (bang).

Vital vaporizer battery life and heating time

If there is not much to say about the warm-up time with 55 seconds to reach 220oC, there is something to dwell on its autonomy.

With its removable 18650 battery system, you can have as many batteries as you want to make the most of your X-Max V2 Pro portable vaporizer.

This is undoubtedly the feature that made the Xmax V2 Pro a big commercial success in 2014 because it will not be until the release of the Focus vaporizer in 2016 for the idea to be taken up by competition!

Note that the market offers different storage capacities for 18650 formats, so with two 3000 mah batteries you can isolate yourself in nature camping or hiking for the weekend!

X-Max V2 Pro Spray: 5 Temperatures Programmed

The X-Max does not offer the possibility to choose the heating temperature to the degree, but 5 temperature palliers ranging from 180 to 220 degrees Celsius.

This does not allow us to practice herbal medicine in the broadest sense of the word.

Moreover, the quality of steam does not seem to me sufficient to make it a tool of medication.

The oily, resinous, or crystallized concentrates will be perfectly vaporized at 210 degrees Celsius or 220 degrees Celsius depending on the search for flavors or the intensity of the resenti.

For the latter, we can consume them with the small bowl provided in the kit or with organic cotton sold separately.

Ergonomics and use of the X-Max V2 Pro vaporizer

At 15.5 cm in length and 2 cm in diameter, the X-Max V2 Pro is an ergonomic vaporizer.

I appreciate its typical cylindrical shape of Vape Pen and the appearance of its mouthpiece that almost make it look like an electronic cigarette.

It is also ideal for stealth in hostile environments…

The grip is nice and the pocket is not cumbersome making it an easy object to handle and carry.

The quality of the metal that makes up the hull of the Xmax seems to be able to withstand shocks.

On the other hand, it will tend to heat up a little too much in hand and a silicone protective case would have been welcome.

This is also the case for the silicone mouthpiece because even if it is pleasant in the mouth, it heats up too much for my taste.

This makes a bubbler a necessity!

Choosing the scheduled temperatures takes a little effort at first, but is quite intuitive once understood.

If this is a drawback for the more impatient at opening the kit, this becomes a quality as we can use our Xmax V2 Pro vaporizer with a single button!

I greatly appreciate the change in color of the diodes depending on the temperature chosen, they all flash at the same time at the start and stop the vapo, which is perfect for the holidays of the end of years!
