Volcano salon vaporizers are the brand's first vaporizers, which have been on the market since 2000.
It was at the time the best vaporizer on the market, and it still remains the reference today!

Volcano Hybrid spray and convection heater
The Volcano Hybrid vaporizer heater system works by convection.
Convection heating means that the vaporized plant is not in direct contact with the heater element, in which case we would talk about conduction heating!
Indeed, this element lies under the bowl where we place our plants, and heats a flow of air that will pass through the plants to extract the active ingredients in the form of steam.
This airflow can be generated by the Volcano Hybrid wind tunnel when used with a balloon, or by inhaling the user with the hose mode!
Thus, plants are not worked when hot air does not pass through them between two balloons and two inhales to the hose.
It is therefore possible to take your time and finish your bowl of plants in several times!
After being sprayed, the plant emerges in a perfectly uniform yellow color, which shows that it has been heated evenly without any loss.
The steam quality of the Volcano Hybrid
Perfection is so perfect that it can only be imperfectly described, but we will do our best!

But this is ancient history and today the Volcano Hybrid is equipped with a digital temperature control to the degree!
The temperature range, which was 130 to 226 degrees Celsius, was also expanded to 40-230 degrees Celsius for even more flexibility.
Note that the Volcano Hybrid heater is effective even at low temperatures, which is not the case with all vaporizers.
So it's a real pleasure to be able to spray fragile plants like mint below 150oC!
The little extra that makes you happy: it is possible to program the heating temperature of the Volcano Hybrid (as well as turn it on or on) via Bluetooth on your laptop!

Ergonomics and use of volcano Classic vaporizer
The first Volcano was already very easy to use, but the Hybrid is even easier!
Digital temperature control to the degree is already much more comfortable.
In addition, the hose mode coupled with the traditional balloon mode provides a much more flexible use!
Thus, depending on the plants you spray or when you consume them your cravings may be differently satisfied.
These two consumption modes are perfectly suited for user-friendly use, just turn one or the other to your best buddies!
In addition, the Volcano is still as reliable and it is impossible to "rater" your vaporization sessions because of a technical problem for example.
We must emphasize the robustness of the Volcano Hybrid which is not likely to break as could vaporizers with glass components like Vapexhale and Herborizer!
Nevertheless, the Volcano Hybrid vaporizer is still as big as its predecessor…
On the other hand, it is less noisy when you turn on the wind tunnel in balloon mode and much faster to heat in just 40 seconds which is dazzling!
Volcano Hybrid maintenance
To ensure impeccable taste and hygiene, the Volcano Hybrid must be maintained regularly.
Unsurprisingly from Storz and Bickel, all parts of the vaporizer in contact with the plant or steam are easily and quickly removable!
You will need isopropylic alcohol as well as cotton swabs or rags to clean.
The most important part to clean is the filling chamber where we place the plants to be sprayed.
To do this, remove the Volcano Hybrid and disassemble it before plunging it into alcohol for up to 30 minutes.
Then, pass a blow of rag or cotton swab on the different parts and let them dry before reassembling them!
You can do the same for the elbow of the hose and the mouthpiece, without the disassembly part because it is a one-piece element.
Now you have the question of the hose and the balloons…
Manufacturer Storz and Bickel recommends changing them every two weeks for hygiene reasons.
Indeed, they are difficult to clean, the inside of the pipe is difficult to access and the walls of the balloon are too flexible to be properly rubbed with a cloth …
For example, traces of water or vaporization residue can be embedded in it and make your Volcano Hybrid look like a survivor of the apocalypse.
However, if you don't mind, it is possible to reuse them for a while…
If you want to use your Volcano Hybrid immediately after cleaning, we recommend that you run it empty and at high temperature for a few minutes so that any traces of alcohol still present evaporate!
Finally, the Hybrid is equipped with air filters at its base; these must be changed when they are dirty!
Storz and Bickel advises checking them once a month and making the replacement if necessary.
