Portable vaporizer "M" 2020 by conduction
Nothing new in 2020 in the heating system of this new Dynavap "M", which works by conduction with a blue flame lighter.
Rest assured, if the use of a lighter is required, there is no contact between fire and plants, and Dynavap is indeed a portable vaporizer that works without combustion!
As a reminder, conduction heating implies that there is direct contact between the plant and the heating element to generate the desired steam.
Otherwise (when the plant is not in contact with the heater) we would talk about convection heating.
This famous heating element, in the case of Dynavap, is the small hood that covers the plant chamber and that we will heat with our lighter.
Its particularity, in addition to heating and cooling quite quickly, is to emit a "click-click" when the ideal vaporization temperature is reached!
Steam quality of the vaporizer "M" 2020
With its all-metal design (with the exception of toric joints), it is to be suspected that no element will distort the steam produced by the Dynavap M 2020.
Indeed, many vaporizers, sometimes much more expensive, incorporate plastics and/or silicones as well as batteries and electronic components …
The steam path is mostly isolated from electronics and batteries (beware if not) but significantly degrades the rendering of flavor when it incorporates plastics…
Thus, the aromatic rendering of a Dynavap will easily surpass that of its entry-level electronic competitors!
The first puffs are fresh and then become lukewarm, the following can be hot if you follow the heaters in succession.
Autonomy and heating time of the Dynavap "M" 2020
As we said earlier, the Dynavap "M" 2020 works with a lighter rather than an electronic battery.
This emancipates us from dependence on electricity, but leads us to gas.
With a lighter with a large tank, you can easily expect a much greater battery life than with electronic equipment!
As long as you have a gas canister on you or in your luggage, the range will be almost limitless…
Note that the lighters required for Dynavap are the so-called "storm," "turbo," or "blue flame" and "hard flame."
Indeed, the flame of the classic lighters, called "soft flame" is too wide but not very powerful, which makes the heating slow and imprecise.
In addition, these unsuitable lighters leave a build-up of soot on the hood.
Depending on the power of your lighter and the ambient temperature, you can expect to heat up in about 10 seconds.

With its metal design, the M 2020 is of course devoid of a digital screen or light to display the temperature.
It is therefore the user who is responsible for heating the vaporizer to the desired temperature.
Fortunately, the heater -the Cap – provides assistance with an audible signal when the desired temperature is reached.
The mechanism is very simple, a double wall is located at the bottom of Cape Town and comes to collide with the heater in a characteristic "click-click".
The closer we heat to this double partition, the faster it collides and the lower the temperature.
On the other hand, the farther we heat, the higher the temperature!
Thus, the Dynavap offers you a temperature panel of about 170-220 degrees Celsius, which allows you to vaporize a range of plants correctly.
But not to practice herbal medicine with all plants, because the most fragile like mint (<150°c) ne seront pas compatibles.
Dynavap "M" ergonomic and pocket-friendly!
Indeed, Dynavap vaporizers are without a doubt the smallest vapos in the world…
No bigger than my little finger and barely longer, the "M" 2020 fits everywhere easily.
You could almost forget his presence in his pocket with his weight of 19 grams …
Its grip is excellent, its steel design also makes it one of the most robust vaporizers.
In fact, Dynavap are for me the most practical and portable vaporizers, although the use of the lighter is preferable out of sight!
The Cape cap is very handy for packing and curing the bowl of plants.
With this 2020 edition, we can see that the curves of the M have been sharpened for a more masculine design.
We can see that the airflow has been changed, it now comes in the form of two slots rather than a circular hole, and offers better control.
In addition, the capacity of the room is adjustable and it is possible to move the grid to reduce it to 50%!
Finally, bubbler enthusiasts will appreciate the 10mm male calibrated mouthpiece compatible with the 10mm female sockets!
Dynavap "M" interview
As always, I encourage you to regularly maintain your vaporizer for an optimal experience.
Indeed, a dirty vaporizer will tend to release parasitic tastes of cooked plants that will distort the aromas do our fresh plant.
In the case of the M 2020 portable vaporizer, we will need ISO alcohol (99.9%) or at least 90oC, and a cotton swab.
We dip the disassembled M into a container of alcohol and let it soak for at least a good quarter of an hour.
To go faster, we can cure the internal condenser and the plant chamber (Tip) with the help of cotton swab!
With time and fire contact, the plant chamber and Cape Town can accumulate oxidation that will not leave with alcohol.
To get rid of it, I rub with baking soda moistened with very little water!
I clean alcohol once a week and bicarbonate once a month, but free everyone to adjust the pace.
Rinse with water and dry well before spraying again!
Using the Dynavap "M" vaporizer
Like all Dynavap vaporizers, the M 200 requires a little learning.
When first using, I advise you to do an empty test to familiarize yourself with its heating mode.
Indeed, you must understand the system of "clicks" to use the M correctly …
When the temperature is reached, the Cape emits a "click-click", as well as when the temperature has dropped, making heating possible again.
If we heat again without waiting for the cooling click, the wall will not emit a signal and we will have a great chance of getting a combustion… yuck.
In addition, it is important to rotate the Dynavap between your fingers to heat the entire circumference of Cape Town and get a homogeneous cooking of the plants.
As we saw above, by heating near the double partition (hidden in the bulge at the end of the cape) we will have a low temperature and vice versa!

Summary
Dynavap proves that the adage "you don't change a winning team" is not valid for them!
Indeed, the international success of the stainless steel "M" still generates as much infatuation from year to year.
Always more beautiful and technically improved, without losing what gave it its initial success, the M remains an inescapable reference!
This 2020 edition is probably the most pleasant to handle that I could try, the grip offers an excellent grip that is lacking the old "M".
In addition, the possibility of reducing the room to plant as with the Omnivap in Titanium makes me very happy!
