This is the second version of the most expensive portable vaporizer on the market!
On the face of it, something expensive is no longer a trick, but a masterpiece when you are satisfied or a dung when you are not.

Firefly 2 spray with convection heater
The Firefly 2 handheld puff-on-demand vaporizer works with a convection heating system.
Convection heating means that the extraction of the plant's active ingredients is done by passing hot air through it rather than by contact with the heating element.
In the latter case, we would call it conduction heating.

To set the vaporization temperature of the Firefly 2, it is necessary to go through its smartphone-connected application.

Originally, this application offered the user the choice between 6 different vaporization temperatures.
But that was before, and it's much better now!
Indeed, the application has evolved and now allows a much more flexible use.
Thus, we can set the temperature of the heater between 105 and 255 degrees Celsius in increments of 5 degrees Celsius!
Steam is of high quality, so we have the opportunity to practice herbal medicine with all possible plants.
But also aromatherapy with concentrates whether they are solid, liquid, oily or resinous …
Be careful though, you should know that the cellulose of plant materials goes into combustion from 231oC.
In addition, the sub-combustion will be at the rendezvous beyond 200oC, beware!
So temperatures above 231 degrees Celsius are reserved exclusively for the use of impurities-free concentrates, CBD crystals are perfect for that.
For the record, mint vaporizes ideally between 100 and 150 degrees Celsius, and agricultural hemp at 180 degrees Celsius.
Ergonomics and use of Firefly 2
The dimensions of the Firefly 2 remain correct, it is not bulky.
When compared with the first Firefly, the difference is obvious!
In fact, its volume has been reduced by a third and its weight by more than half.
Its grip is excellent, the thumb and index finger are instinctively positioned on the two heating buttons while the vaporizer rests on the other three fingers or on the palm.
When the heater is on, an orange glow shines on the walls of the vaporizer chamber to evoke to the vapoteur the distant memory of combustion.
This gives the Firefly 2 the appearance of a peace pipe, it's completely useless but personal I love it!
I particularly appreciate the grainy texture of the hull, very pleasant to the touch.
The object itself is beautiful, uncluttered, the design has been carefully crafted.
The colors of the different models are classy, I particularly like the cream.

On the other hand, the detail that appealed to me is the mouthpiece of the Firefly 2.

Firefly 2 portable vaporizer maintenance
It will be necessary to clean our Firefly 2 regularly in order to get the best out of it.
To do this, you will need isopropylic alcohol (or 90) and a wipe (or sopalin).
Let's start by cleaning the bowl, we will gently rub the sides and bottom with the alcohol-soaked wipe.
Let's be careful that no drop of alcohol is permeation at the bottom of the bowl, we could damage the vaporizer.
Then, let's clean the glass steam duct, a good wipe on the two mirrored walls will suffice.
Finally, if you need to clean the concentrate pad, dip it in alcohol for at least a good quarter of an hour, then rinse it thoroughly with clear water before drying it.
Finally, make a vacuum heater at maximum power to eliminate any alcohol residues that may be present in the vaporization chamber.

How Firefly 2 vaporizer works
The Firefly 2 portable vaporizer works super simple!
Make sure you have your laptop handy as I remind you, the Heatfly 2 heating temperatures are set up via the smartphone app.
To start, grind your plants with the help of a grinder or your fingers.
Then remove the lid from the vaporizer.
Place your plants in the borosilicate glass heater bowl, and replace the lid.
Be careful that no piece of plant emerges from the vaporization chamber because in such a case it could be that an air leak is done if the lid was badly closed…
Finally place your fingers on the two digital sensors of the Firefly 2 portable vaporizer and inhale the tasty and sweet steam it produces.
The vaporizer takes about three seconds to deliver steam, the longer you inhale and the more steam you will draw.
