The Crafty vaporizer… So many emotions and memories!
Do you know that I almost had an attack the first time I tested the Crafty vaporizer!?
It's in September 2014, I get the Crafty and the Mighty in small quantities a few weeks before everyone else.
I didn't know I didn't have the right to sell it yet because Storz and Bickel kept them out until October.
Too small quantities… I'm deg because I really can't afford to take a Crafty out of the stock to test it… Arfff it really itches…We'll have to wait for the restocking…
Still, I don't expect to fall on my ass…
I know it's going to be good, see very well! It's Storz and Bickel anyway!
But hey, I had this feeling that nothing could surprise me really spray level.
It's a morning and a customer decides to pick up his Crafty vaporizer directly on site.
He goes to get away with the beast and I had to do my dog head beaten because he asked me directos if I wanted to test it … A gift of hidden telepathy?!
No time to do the break-in, no big deal, it's gone!
So there, what a slap… I swear I pinched myself to see if I wasn't dreaming.
The taste of crazy and especially this fresh and sweet steam really incredible … I've never experienced this before.
Yet I tested vapo!
My client who already had some sprays to his bow also hallucinate obviously.
Finally, although I thought I'd go on the Crafty, it's a Mighty that I got caught later… Much more suitable for my use and such quality level.
The Crafty will remain my first experience with a Storz and Bickel portable vaporizer and it will remain a really good memory of vaporist!
It's good the first few times…
PS: Just to prevent, steam level, Crafty and Mighty, it's the same … The differences are on the size, ergonomics …

Crafty spray by convection and conduction
The Crafty works with a hybrid heater that blends convection and conduction.
The convection heater of the widely majority Crafty portable vaporizer provides perfect and accurate temperature control.
Indeed, convection is simply to pass a flow of hot air through the plant matter to extract the active ingredients.
However, the conduction heater allows you to benefit from a generous steam at the beginning of the session.
Indeed, there is conduction when the plant matter is in direct contact with the heating element.
It is precisely the perfect combination of convection and conduction that allows the Crafty vaporizer to have such an exceptional steam rendering!
This hybrid heater, subtly controlled by the Crafty portable vaporizer, allows you to instantly generate a rich, fresh and tasty vapor, while maintaining total temperature control through a controlled convection.

To have the best possible steam you need a good print (airflow), a fresh, sweet, generous steam and of course respectful of the aromas of medicinal plants or herbs!

Above it was seen that the Crafty's heating technique was a crucial element for the quality of the steam rendering.
The other most important element is the Crafty cooling unit.
Indeed, the steam, which arrives hot, is carried through the cooling unit so that it is cooled in a really efficient way.
This accessory also offers a formidable filtering of the fine particles that will get stuck inside.
The cooling unit also gives a very appreciable Airflow with no real resistance.
The radiator-style shell also helps with the proper dissipation of the vapo heat!
Battery, heating time and Crafty range
The Crafty vaporizer works with a lithium-ion battery.
It takes more than 2 hours to fully load via its USB port
The Crafty has a fairly limited range.
Do not plan to do more than 2 or 3 sessions after a full charge.
The Crafty is also usable during charging but will require a minimum of 20-30 minutes of pre-loading.
Its warm-up time is quite correct, it reaches 180oC in about 80 seconds.
Frankly, the Crafty is ideal for like one session a day.
For 2 sessions/day, it's already starting to get hot since you have to set up a daily loading routine so you don't end up in a state of the day.
After 2 sessions, trust me, take a Mighty without hesitation, it's not that big and you'll be really quiet!
Crafty Vapory Temperature Panel
With the Crafty vaporizer, you have access to all temperatures from 40 to 210 degrees Celsius, just like the Mighty vaporizer.
So you can spray all the plants and concentrates you want without worry.
On the other hand, to make the Crafty so small, you had to remove stuff!
So they zapped the LCD screen and we control the temperature via Bluetooth with an app on smartphone.
There is a fixed temperature (basic 180oC) that can be changed and a booster temperature (basic 15oC) that can be changed.
So you can reach all temperatures easily via the app!
For concentrates, everything is planned!
For plant concentrates, whether oily, resinous… they made a small accessory called liquid pad as on the Volcano puts in smaller of course.
It's a small stainless steel pad that protects the Crafty bowl.
Ideally, I recommend the dosing capsule with liquid pad that protects even better on the sides! You can also simply use untreated and compacted organic cotton… It's working well, too!
Note also that the crafty remembers the last temperature configured.
So let's say you don't have a smartphone on you… It's not a big deal.
The Crafty will work very well and at the first push of the orange button it will reach the base temperature.
For the boosted temperature, you will simply have to press the orange main button twice.
Ergonomics and use of Crafty vaporizer
Crafty is a vapo that fits easily into a pocket or bag.
Ultra light, small and compact it is ideally taken in hand.
Its look style pc processor cooler satisfies the side of my computer passion but some will find it ugly …
If so, close your eyes when you use it… It would be a shame to take a vaporizer less well because of his mouth !!!
It's not just the physical in life!
The exterior coating of the crafty is made of a so-called medical composite.

Crafty maintenance
When you have its crafty vaporizer, you want to keep it in good condition for a long time, here is the secret to respect:

Regular cleaning of the cooler and its tip is essential for the vaporizer to keep its airflow fluid and good taste from the first days.
For hygienic reasons too, the Crafty vaporizer and its parts must be accompanied by a thorough cleaning.
The cooler will become very sticky by dint of uses!
imagine plants, oils, concentrates that pass through the cooling unit, we quickly get a cooler clogged if not disgusting!
In order to remove most of the dirt accumulated in the bowl, the Crafty can be heated to 210oC and pass strongly from the sopalin or cloth over its entire surface.
Be careful not to burn yourself!! would be a shame to make light bulbs!
How would you then light up your beautiful Crafty!!
Always for quick cleaning, disassemble the cooling unit and remove as much residue as possible with the help of the small orange accessory.
Also remove the grate and remove a little all the that clogs it… You'll feel the difference!
For a thorough cleaning, it will last longer but will have to do it at least once a month if you use it daily.
You should use alcohol at 90 degrees or even better isopropylic alcohol 99.9 degrees.
And bathe the cooler totally disassembled during the time it takes (it can last for hours).
Be careful, however, not to leave the joints for more than a few minutes to prevent the alcohol from eating them away and thus weaken them!
