Air 2 VS Solo 2: The steam rendering
The steam between the 2 Arizer is really very close since their heating technique remains the same.
However, the glass tube or mouthpiece of the Arizer Air 2 vaporizer is shorter than that of the Arizer Solo2 vaporizer…
In the end, the steam of the Air 2 is more lukewarm!
Indeed, the temperature of the steam remains proportional to the length of the tube or pipe of the vaporizer.
Even so, the Arizer tubes are all compatible with each other (with the exception of the Argo tip!)

The flavour rendering of these 2 vaporizers are particularly well rendered with a moist, dense and particularly aromatic steam.
For me, it's the best portable vaporizer rendering after the Mighty/Crafty!
Solo 2 VS Air 2: Extraction Efficiency
Although almost identical, I find the Solo 2 a bit more powerful … I make myself may be an idea but that's my feeling!
The extraction is therefore excellent in the 2 vapo but they both have the same defect …
Indeed, the bowl is narrow and deep while the heating element is nearby,
In the end, the vegetable part is more vaporized on the heating element side than on the opposite side!
The steam is therefore not very homogeneous and the plant can be dark brown on one side and still brown/green on the other…
This is the main defect of Arizer tech portable vaporizers but it does not take away from the overall quality of their vaporizers!
Air 2 VS Solo 2: Temperature control and panel
The Air2 and Solo2 basically have the same menu via a nice oled screen with which you can simply set the heating temperature from 50 to 220 degrees Celsius.
It is possible to spray all herbal and concentrated herbs with the 2 vapo.
For plant extracts/concentrates, you will just need to use cotton or a grate to protect the bowl and tube because no accessories have been provided for this purpose!
Solo 2 VS Air 2: Autonomy
The battery life is one of the big differences between the Solo 2 and the Air 2!
– The Solo 2 is first and foremost usable right away during charging.
I don't know if there are 2 or 4 fixed batteries inside but the Solo 2 has a record range of about 12/13 sessions per charge on average!
It's really impressive and it recharges super fast in just 2 hours with its charger area!
– The Air 2 is usable during the charge but it will need a small pre-loading!
It has a battery life of about 3/4 sessions per charge on average with its unique removable battery which is really not bad.
According to the manufacturer, their batteries are optimized for the Air 2…
Depending on the chargers used, the battery will recharge in 2/3 hours!
Air 2 VS Solo 2: Heating Speed
The Solo 2 vaporizer reaches the reference temperature of 180oC in less than 30 seconds while the Air 2 vaporizer takes about 80 seconds!
This is exceptional for the first and very reasonable for the second!
Solo 2 VS Air 2: Ergonomics
The principle was simply to make a smaller, portable and ergonomic version of the Solo 2.
The result is the appointment with 2 vaporizers with almost identical capabilities.
The finish of the 2 vapo is really at the top and we really feel that we have a quality product in our hands.
The air 2 screen is obviously smaller than the Solo 2, but the same features are on offer!
On the other hand, WARNING! The air 2's screen is SUPER FRAGILE…
It is even better that it does not fall from its own height and we would prefer to leave it lying down!
The Solo 2 surely has the same fragility but as it is bigger, it is less able to fall …
In summary
2 super vaporizers almost identical with 2 separate ergonomics that do not necessarily target the same audience.
With the Solo 2, we will favor power and autonomy while with the Air 2 we will highlight the nomadic side of the vape for a similar price
