Plenty spray by convection
The Plenty uses a heating system almost 100% convection.
This means that only the passage of air through the plant allows the extraction of the active ingredients of the plant or plant matter.
The result of vaporization is incredibly homogeneous… That is, all parts of the plant are sprayed in the same way.
This can be seen simply by looking at the color of the plant used.
To achieve this homogeneous result with convection, Storz and Bickel has long understood that a wide bowl with shallow depth is necessary.
This allows warm air to pass through all parts of the plant evenly with the same temperature.
When a bowl is longer and narrower, and the heater is not far away, the outer part is always more vaporized than the inner part that is protected.
Note also that the air that passes is a little less hot because of the distance traveled …
In the end, you may have a dark brown/black plant on the outside and light brown/greenish at the other end.
The defects of a convection poorly controlled in a way …
This is not the case with the Plenty vaporizer!
The steam quality of the Plenty
A good vaporizer is a rather fresh steam (not hot anyway!), a nice draw or airflow and of course a tasty steam and respectful of the plants or herbs used.
Well, with the Plenty vaporizer all these points are green!
The Plenty's steam is incredibly refreshed by its ultra-efficient cooling spiral.
It's actually simple… Every inch traveled cools the air.
With this metal coil system, we have a long pipe that ultimately takes up not too much space.
It perfectly refreshes the steam to bring out the aromas of your favorite plants.
The airflow or print is very open which by definition means that there is no resistance when suctioning.
It is up to you to inhale more or less hard and for a long time to obtain a more or less dense and abundant steam!
In the end, we get a gentle and generous steam that scrupulously respects the plants, herbs or plant extracts vaporized.
Plenty Spray and Herbal Therapy
With a range of temperatures that ranges from 130 to 202 degrees Celsius, most herbal medicine plants can be sprayed with this without any problems.
Even if the temperature setting with the dial is not the most accurate, we visualize the result well via the nice analog screen of the Plenty.
For concentrates, although it is provided a liquid pad as on the Volcano, the maximum temperature of 202oC can seem a little feeble!

Ergonomics and use of the Plenty vaporizer
The Plenty vaporizer could be considered as a manual salon vaporizer or as a portable space spray.
It makes it a very practical salon vaporizer to use but its unacademic form, although practical to take in hand, takes up a lot of space and is not very optimized.
In terms of look/design, past the jokes, we will let everyone judge … It's surprising, but finally, with time I find it more so ugly …

Plenty Maintenance
For cleaning, as always with Storz and Bickel, it's very well explained.
It's always boring to clean a vaporizer but as on the Plenty all the parts to be cleaned are removable, it's finally very convenient and you just have to buy alcohol at 90 degrees or ideally isopropylic alcohol 99.9% Plenty to keep your long years at the top!
How the Plenty Vaporizer Works
Very easy to use, the Plenty vaporizer has 1 button on/off, a dial to control the temperature and a big trigger to restart the heater.
Turn on/off: Button O/I
Temperature control: 1 to 7
Relaunch the heater: Trigger
Turn on the Plenty and select the desired temperature.
After 3 large minutes, the Plenty will reach an average temperature of 180oC
After 2 minutes without use, it will go to sleep and just pull the trigger to restart the heater.
It is rather very long to go down in temperature!
Finally, it is important to know that if you do not completely fill the bowl with vegetable matter, it is essential to place the liquid pad (metal straw mat in stainless steel) on top of the plant.
The liquid pad will keep the plant in the bowl and allow warm air to circulate normally over all plant matter.
If you don't, the plant will fall to the bottom of the bowl and the air will pass largely through an empty part… Of course, there will be virtually no steam!
