The CFX vaporizer from Boundless says it is limitless as its name suggests…

Clearly placing itself in the mid-range quality, Boundless wanted to make a kind of "Poor Mighty" for those who do not have the ability to slam 290 in a vaporizer.

Indeed, its shape, although different, immediately makes you think of Storz and Bickel's Mighty vaporizer.

Obviously, we're not going to make a mystery of it any longer…

The Boundless CFX vaporizer unfortunately doesn't reach his ankle!

That being said, the CFX vaporizer is nevertheless very interesting with its great value for money and even if it is not devoid of defects, its success is far from being demerited …

Let's take a closer look.

CFX convection spray

The BOUNDless CFX heats mainly by convection.

Convection is a heating technique that involves passing hot air through and around the plant to extract the active ingredients in the form of steam.

Unlike the conduction which, in itself, heats the plant by direct contact with the heating element.

The convection rather well controlled, coupled with an airflow (drawing) a little tight, allows to generate good clouds of steam very dense!

The vapour rendering of the Boundless CFX can leave a little perplexed…

Indeed, on the one hand, there is no denying that the aromatic rendering is quite pleasant.

However, the steam quickly becomes a little aggressive, even slightly harsh and this sensation increases as the session progresses.

This rather bitter side is often found in vaporizers with ceramic chamber… Weirdly, portable vaporizers with the best aromatic rendering have a stainless steel vaporization bowl or chamber…

Nothing horrible and off-putting either… And let's remember, the first puffs are very pleasant!

These are probably the limits between a good little mid-range vaporizer and a top vaporizer at more than 200 euros!

In addition, the steam, is rather cool in the first puffs and quickly becomes lukewarm.

This is due to the cooling unit of the CFX vaporizer which is certainly far from the efficiency of that of the Mighty but which is still its taf … Minimum union!

As said above, the airflow or draw of the Boundless CFX is of the kind neither really closed, nor really open …

Basically, we still have a feeling of airflow a little clogged as soon as we suck a little hard.

Nothing serious yet, you just have to slow down its inhalation if it bothers you a little.

This Airflow a little tight on the other hand allows to have a rather dense steam!

CFX Boundless: Battery, heating time and battery life.

The Boundless CFX Vape vaporizer carries two fixed batteries from 2500 mAh to 7.4v!

The 80w power allows the CFX to enjoy an incredible heating time of 20 to 30 seconds depending on the desired temperature.

Its two batteries or batteries give it a battery life of more than 60 minutes for about 6 sessions of vaporization!

The CFX vapo can be recharged either by USB or by its sector charger.

It's a great choice to incorporate a double connector on the vaporizer.

Let's hope that this becomes the norm very soon…

The CFX's wide temperature panel

The CFX's heating temperature can be set from 40 to 220 degrees Celsius, which is perfect for all herbal and concentrated aromatherapy plants.

However, if you are looking for a vaporizer for wide use in herbal medicine, I think it is better to aim for the highest of the range…

On the other hand, to discover quickly the joys of phyto with a little reduced budget, the CFX vaporizer will do perfectly.

For the use of concentrates and plant extracts, you can use the dedicated stainless steel bowl that comes with or simply organic cotton that is there to protect the bowl.

Ergonomics and use of the CFX Vape vaporizer

We can find it a little big, but remember that it contains 2 batteries and a wide screen!

Its compact design still makes it a very portable vaporizer with a disconcerting ease of use.

The CFX fits perfectly in a back pocket of Jean's or coats and it will even be very discreet in the street with its face of ELECTRONIC cigarette MOD.

The use is therefore as well made for moments of relaxation at home as in nomadic mode away from home.

Frankly, to be honest, there is nothing complicated.

It's kind of the same maintenance method as a Mighty

Once in a while, the CFX ceramic bowl is cleaned with a cotton swab lightly soaked in alcohol at 90 degrees or isopropylic.

Because the ceramic is porous, it will never be possible to restore the bowl to its original colour if it has become too blackened.

To cooler it (the cooling unit), the block is separated into two parts and left to soak for a few hours

Except the joints that will not be allowed more than 3 minutes of swimming in order to avoid alcohol eating too much plastic!

Don't forget to rinse plenty with water…

How CFX Boundless Vaporizer Works

The vaporizer is turned on or off with 5 quick taps on the main button.

Once turned on, it rises to the last selected temperature in 20 to 30 seconds.

You can select the temperature you want with the 2 buttons to the left of the screen.

The CFX Vape will start vibrating to indicate that the temperature has reached.

Summary

The Boundless CFX Vape is clearly one of the best vaporizers in this price range.

Value for money is certainly CFX's best asset.

Its rich, abundant steam and its really attractive price make us easily forget its rendering a little aggressive or even harsh.
