Living Ambit Spray and Convection Heater
Like the Alternate vaporizer from the same manufacturer, the Ambit de Vivant is equipped with a convection heating system.
If those last words don't speak to you, let me explain them to you.
A convection heating system implies that the plant is not in contact with the heating element.
Thus, the latter being placed under the bowl of plants, will carry a stream of hot air through it when inhaled.
Users generally report preferring this type of system, although it is energy-intensive and hardly compatible with the battery life of a portable vaporizer.
Nevertheless, there are a few models that have succeeded in this challenge, and the Ambit is one of them!
It is true that most portable vaporizers work with hybrid or conduction heating systems.
Conduction heating implies that the plant is in direct contact with the heating element, which generates steam faster and less energy-intensive.
Finally, since the Ambit portable vaporizer works with convection heating, the longer your inhalation will be… The more steam you produce!
Ambit Living Steam Quality
When we talk about steam quality, we usually mean extracting the active ingredients of plants and respecting the aromas.
Thus, in order for the steam produced by a vaporizer to be called "quality", it is necessary that the flavors of the plants be restored without being distorted.
In addition, the plant must be "cooked" in a homogeneous manner, i.e. at heart and without "blackheads".
For the case of Ambit, it turns out that the respect of flavors is a little flat … It's very correct but transcendent either.
Without being distorted, it is not as rich and subtle as with its big brother the Alternate or a Arizer or a Mighty.
However, I did not notice any parasitic tastes due to poor quality materials.
On the other hand, in terms of extraction of active ingredients, we are good!
The plant is worked evenly as long as the duration of the inhalations is not forced.
In this case, it can be seen that the plant is less "cooked" on the sides of the bowl, while the center can turn brown.
It's up to you to lend a hand for optimal inhalation!
Note that the Ambit has a very high extraction capacity, i.e. it is able to extract plants very quickly, which explains the large volume of steam that can be drawn from it in just one puff.
Ambit vaporizer battery and battery life
As always, the smaller a vaporizer, the more likely it is to be limited in battery life.
The Living Ambit unfortunately does not escape this rule.
Indeed, the 1500 Mah battery of this portable vaporizer allows about 20 minutes of battery life… Which may seem very limited.
However, with the large extraction capacity of Ambit, which quickly produces a large volume of steam, it is possible to extract up to three bowls of plants per load.
Plus, note that this battery recharges in just 30 minutes!
This means you never run out of juice when you're near an electricity source, because the Ambit recharges faster than it empties.
Unless you're planning on sending yourself three doses of plants in a row?

The Living Ambit suitable for herbal medicine?
Vivant's Ambit portable vaporizer offers a temperature range from 100 to 230 degrees Celsius adjustable to the degree.
In theory, this panel can vaporize any type of plant.
However, in order to be able to speak of herbal medicine (medicine by plants), steam must be of optimal quality.
Unfortunately, this is not the case with the Ambit…
If you are looking for a portable device to practice herbal medicine and if you have the budget, the Mighty is the best option for you.
Ergonomics and use of Living Ambit
What a positive here for the Living Ambit!
Indeed, with its record size and featherweight of less than one hundred grams, The Ambit is one of the smallest and lightest electronic vaporizers on the market.
In addition, its three buttons are very accessible with the thumb while having the vaporizer in hand, the programming of temperatures is done with ease.
In addition, the Ambit's shell is covered with a velvety coating, which is more pleasant than the feeling of plastic.
Finally, it seems rather robust and should withstand shocks and falls not too rough … Don't try!
Maintenance of living Ambit portable vaporizer
Again and again, a clean vaporizer is an effective vaporizer, don't hesitate to maintain it!
The One in the Living Ambit is simple and fast, especially if it is done regularly.
To do this, we will start with the vaporization chamber, a shot of cotton rod soaked in isopropylic alcohol on its walls will be enough to give it a youthful boost.
Make sure your cotton is soaked, not soggy with alcohol, at the risk of it leaking onto the heater under the room!
If this cleaning is done hot (about 150oC) it will be even more efficient!
Then we'll take care of the mouthpiece.
We can simply let it soak a good quarter of an hour in the alcohol by taking care to remove the small silicone sheath that is used to hold the grate, because it is fragile.
After that, we'll rinse it all out in the water before we put it all back together.
How the Living Ambit Vaporizer Works
Very simple and intuitive, the Ambit vaporizer can be used by anyone without any difficulty.
The programming of the temperatures as well as the tension of the vapo is done with its three buttons, and a screen displays the parameters.
It displays the temperature and battery level when it is turned on without the heater being launched, and then a countdown in seconds during the heat.

While it's true that high-end vaporizers are much more efficient, the Ambit really hurts its direct competitors.
